Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of nudgeTab, a web application and Chrome Extension that lets you set time-based reminders on any webpage, operated by nudgeTab ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using nudgeTab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

nudgeTab lets you create reminders tied to a title, optional note, and URL, which are delivered as an in-app card, a browser extension overlay, and — on the Pro plan — email and push notifications.

We offer a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription. Plan features and limits are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time; we will give notice of material changes as described below.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use nudgeTab. Accounts found to belong to users under 13 will be terminated.

Pro is billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled.

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the Free plan after a reasonable retry period.

You agree not to:

• Use nudgeTab for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our systems, or infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through excessive automated requests
• Circumvent plan limits (for example, scripting account creation to bypass the free-plan reminder cap)
• Reverse engineer or resell the service without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

You retain ownership of the reminders, notes, and other content you create in nudgeTab ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the service — for example, to display your reminders and send you notifications.

We do not use Your Content for advertising or to train machine-learning models, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may stop using nudgeTab and delete your account at any time by contacting support@nudgetab.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; data deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

nudgeTab is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered on time or without interruption — for example, browser restrictions, network issues, or third-party outages (email, push, or payment providers) can delay or prevent delivery.

nudgeTab is not a substitute for critical, time-sensitive, or safety-related alerting. Do not rely on it as your sole reminder mechanism for anything where a missed notification could cause serious harm.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nudgeTab and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or missed reminders, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of nudgeTab after a Terms update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
